Tirupati Balaji Temple is a famous Hindu temple situated in Tirupati. Tirupati temple is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in India. It is located in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Hundreds of thousands of devotees come here every year. Located at the height of 3200 feet above sea level, Shri Venkateswara temple situated in the hills of Tirumala is the biggest attraction of the temple here.

It is believed that here Lord Tirupati Balaji resides in Tirumala with his wife Padmavati. Here every prayer is sought from a true heart and when a devotee’s wish is fulfilled, he also comes here and donates his hair.

History of Tirupati Balaji:

This miraculous temple of Tirupati Balaji is located in the hills of Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. The reason for this temple being very well known is the wonderful miracle here.
A lot of beliefs have been added from this temple. It is said that the hair on Venkateswara Swami’s statue is absolutely real in this temple, their hair never interferes with each other. People here believe that this is all right. Because here in the real god is quenching.
It is said that when in the 18th century some people were hanged on the temple wall. Since then, Venkateswara Swamiji appears in the temple. This temple was closed for 12 years because the king of that time had punished 12 people for their death. And they were hanged at the temple gate.
If the ear is heard on Balaji’s idol, then the sound of the sea comes and therefore the idol of Tirupati Balaji always remains wet.It is said to have a stick on the right and the main entrance of the temple and it is said that this stick was beaten by Balaji in the form of Balaji. Because of which he had been hurt on his chin, since then till now his chin is always applying sandal paste so that his wounds are filled.
In Balaji’s temple always burns a lamp. There is never give oil in the lamp. Nobody knows when and who gave it, and who burned the lamp. Because it has been burning for many years.
On Thursday, Tirupati Balaji is applying sandalwood and when it is removed, the idol of Mata Lakshmi itself is produced there. It is not known here today that why this happens.
The Tirupati temple is donated very much by the devotees. According to the tradition, the tradition of donating in this temple is coming from the time of King Krishnadev Rai of Vijayanagara, King Krishna Deva Raya used to donate diamonds and gold silver in this temple.
