According to Pandit Ganesh Mishra of Kashi Hindu University, Mata Parvati took the form of Annapurna on this date. This year it is on 12 December. The full moon date of Margashirsha month starts on December 11 from 10 to 59 minutes in the day, which will be from 10 to 42 minutes on December 12. Annapurna Jayanti will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 12.
